About me
Ken is Past President for OWAA. He recently won the Monroe County Public Library Haiku Contest. He is also a National Outdoor Book Award winning author and freelancer. He has published 10 nature books for youth and adult audiences. His recent releases Earth Almanac and Knowing The Trees both won OWAA EIC Awards. Ken is a regular contributor to Birds and Blooms magazine and The Nature Conservancy’s Cool Green Science. He and his wife Heather Ray own and operate the Wild Birds Unlimited store in Bloomington, Indiana.
