DESTINATION ONE-DAY AND MULTI-DAY PRE & POST TOURS

Madison and destinations across Wisconsin are offering a variety of exceptional pre- and post-conference tours. Media (Active, Senior and Life Members) interested in covering these regions should register directly through SCHED.

Each tour’s Who Can Attend & Cost section outlines eligibility and pricing for three groups.

Pricing and eligibility are determined by each tour host and will vary. All tours require a minimum number of participants; if a tour does not meet its minimum, it will be cancelled and you will be contacted with alternative options.

EXPLORE A WISCONSIN ICON: ALDO LEOPOLD'S SHACK 

Aldo Leopold’s Shack — a National Historic Landmark and the birthplace of A Sand County Almanac — is less than an hour from Madison and makes a perfect pre‑ or post‑conference outing. Stop by the Leopold Center and let them know you’re attending the OWAA Conference to enjoy complimentary access to the Shack. Transportation is on your own, but the experience is well worth the short drive.
