About me
Zack Butterfield is a licensed mental health counselor and founder of Butterfield Counseling and Neurofeedback, a practice dedicated to improving mental wellness in rural communities. With a focus on trauma, anxiety, and brain-based approaches to healing, Zack combines neuroscience and traditional therapy to help clients reconnect with themselves and their environment. He is also the author of Hunting for Happiness: The outdoorsman's guide to getting rid of buck fever, cowboying up and enjoying life, which explores resilience and the intersection of nature and mental health. When not in the office, Zack can often be found outdoors—hiking, camping, and living the balance he encourages in others.
