Lisa John (like Mary-Kate without a dash) is a journalist and art critic from the Midwest. Currently the News Editor for
Great Lakes Now, an Emmy award-winning regional environmental program from Detroit PBS. Most recently a producer for
Detroit Today with Stephen Henderson. Formerly a producer for the Peabody-
nominated podcast,
Unfinished: Deep South. Prior to that, was part of the editorial team at Artforum International Magazine’s
newsdesk. Started out as a freelance journalist, working between other gigs. Writing and editing are the primary mediums, but is also passionate and experienced in audio and video production.
