About me
Ammi Midstokke grew up in the forests of North Idaho, where spring trilliums and fall firewood left their mark on her soul. She is an author and weekly outdoor columnist for the Spokesman Review in Spokane, Washington, and other publications. When she is not writing or guiding others in their craft, she is likely getting lost in the wilderness with her brown dog. She lives in the foothills of the Selkirk Mountains with her husband, and a fluctuating animal-to-human ratio.
